Saturdays are usually a stressful day. I’m usually finishing up a sermon. Praying about it-worrying about it-working on it- wondering if I’ve said it all before. Not today. Kenyon speaks tomorrow which allows me to have a somewhat normal, non-stressed Saturday. The fam is happy and so am I. Although it makes me want to work faster, smarter, better each week so Saturday wouldn’t be stressful. So….
I am glad you guys were able to enjoy your saturday. I must say i gained new found insight into what the weekends mean for a preaching pastor. It means going to bed early and always having to make sure your energy is not too depleted so you can be alive on sunday morning and of course preparing for the sermon. I had no idea how it affected everything. I think having Kenyon preach two weeks in a row really gave us a taste for it. thanks for all you do.
